SII(Standards Institution of Israel)Responsible for standard researchin Israel.As a non-governmental organization, SII provides security,environmental protection, testing and other services to Israel's domestic andforeign imports. When applying for SII certification, relevant factoryinspections must be carried out, and the packaging and color of the productsmust meet the religious requirements of Arab countries.
SII isa mandatory certification, and all cargo entering Israel must be inspected bythe SII agency to ensure that the cargo meets the requirements of Israel'snational standards.The goods are inspected in batches, i.e. every importedgoods are inspected. The test certificate issued by the last inspection can beused in the next inspection, but it can not directly replace the inspection. Itcan only shorten the stay time of the goods at customs, so as to save somecustoms stagnation costs for customers.Generally, the inspection time of SII isabout 40 days.
Afterthe above inspection, the products in the inland city of Israel are not subjectto compulsory certification, can not apply for SII product certification,product suppliers can also directly issue to the Israeli importer SIIinspection certificate to prove that the products meet their Israelistandards.If the applicant needs to apply for "Standard Mark" and"Safety Mark", he will have to undergo annual product retest andfactory inspection by SII. Factory inspection will be carried out by SIIdirectly to the factory, not by other organizations.Although the applicant hasacquired the SII security mark, it is still impossible to avoid each inspectionentrusted by the Customs to the SII agency, nor can the SII certificate be usedto shorten the stay time at the Customs.
